Also, I could show Metal Dust - a game that everyone is talking about at the moment, which requires a piece of hardware that has just sold for an amazing, incredible $1,525USD!!!!! That's a world record for a sale of a SuperCPU without a doubt. The previous record was just $1,125 I think. Even when converted into £GBP, that's a lot of money.

Also, I might have some things to donate for an auction on the day for the charity if you like. Loads of games, computers, and *may be* I'll donate my spare SuperCPU for auction too if we have a working clone by then... but I won't be able to confirm this until early next year.

Anyway, I like the idea of the charity auction, so ask about if other groups etc... want to donate, or have a cull of their hardware/software.

Hi James,

It was good to meet you at the weekend. A shame that TMR couldn't make it, but I'm glad I managed to catch up with a few folk, and indeed meet some new peeps. The Retro Soft project is looking good.

I'm not sure if I should attend future events in any official capacity anymore - I'm getting too old I think - but I may well attend some other small gatherings in the future without the suitecase full of Commodore junk.
